Here it is – Part II of the video series which Korupt Vision genius, Glen, has put together for me. Part I looked awesome and I reckon this one is even better. It was shot back in Boulder on a fairly epic training day and it really captures the feel of the day – the preparation, the incredible scenery and the bloody hard work that goes into a solid Boulder brick. As I said last time, it’s kind of nice to be able to give you an insight into a day in the life of Tim Berkel. Glen has the knack of capturing me just being me, which is pretty cool.
There’s no doubt that the altitude training in Boulder paid off big-time for me. I remember running to the finish line on the Sunshine Coast feeling really smooth and relaxed and thinking that my time in Boulder was all worth it.
I’m counting down the days to Kona and actually writing this from Hawaii (8 more sleeps – we’re a day behind Oz). It’s hot (26 degrees), humid and windy and the place is filling up with triathletes! I’ll keep you posted.
Enjoy the video and as always, go hard!
Tim
